We are currently searching for an experienced Technician to join our **AWARD-WINNING HONDA DEALERSHIP** team in Concord, NC!

  • Auto Technicians are responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, as well as providing preventive maintenance services. We are seeking candidates who are committed to providing the highest QUALITY service!

  • Location: Hendrick Honda (Concord, NC).

  • Schedule: Full Time, 5-day work week, business hours Mon-Sat. 7:00am-7:00pm, closed on Sundays.

  • Pay Range: $55,000 per year and above (based on level and job performance).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections on vehicles to ensure they meet company standards.

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace faulty parts.

  • Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments.

  • Follow detailed instructions and technical manuals to accurately complete repair jobs.

  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order.

  • Keep accurate records of repair work and maintenance activities.

  • Develop and recommend plans for proper maintenance of vehicles.

  • Work with customers to explain repair and maintenance needs.

  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Keep up to date on automotive technologies and advancements.

  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.

  • Participate in required training (manufacturer fundamental training and/or NAPA training provided by Hendrick).

  • Meet and/or exceed manufacturer requirements for ASE tests.

  • Complete manufacturer training to perform: warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDI’s, maintenance, and minor repairs.

  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.

  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 2 years of experience in automotive service and repair.

  • Knowledge of the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.

  • Experience with various makes and models of vehicles.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Possess a professional and courteous attitude.

Essential Skills:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of automotive software.

  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and diagrams.

  • Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify and repair vehicle problems.

  • Ability to use power tools and other specialized equipment.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.​
