BMW of South Austin, proud member of Hendrick Automotive Group is currently searching for their next best Internal Service Advisor to help our service team with internal trade-ins, dealer trades and current inventory. This is an hourly position eligible for bonuses and all other amazing Hendrick Automotive Group benefits! What does an Internal Service Advisor Do?

  • Provide accurate repair/maintenance estimates
  • Adhere to policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is complete in a timely manner
  • Follow up on each repair and keep pre-owned manager informed of progress, repairs and associated costs
  • Keep service manager informed of all issues that do, or may arise, and act as the liaison between Sales and Service
  • Utilize dealer software to track and update vehicle progress and repairs
  • Coordinate used vehicle descriptions and picture taking for internet posting with vendors
  • Process sublet and detail work on new and pre-owned vehicles

What skills do you need to be successful?

  • Teamwork personality with the discipline to work independently with little supervision
  • Must be able to work with computers and learn new and updating technologies
  • Former Automotive Industry experience creating estimates and working on internal service
  • Effective time management and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication is a necessity
  • Will to work hard and be a devoted team member
