The Senior Website Performance Specialist is responsible for supporting Hendrick Automotive Group’s website solutions across the enterprise.

This role is centered on performance management, with a focus on maximizing production of Hendrick website efforts in partnership with our paid media specialists and supporting agencies.

Primary functions include support of performance management disciplines, management of analytics and reporting solutions, establishing and maintaining Hendrick brand standards across digital properties, and collaborating with our senior account managers to expose opportunities and provide clear recommendations to enhance website production.

Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, data layer management, user experience design and testing methodologies, conversion optimization, search optimization and paid media channels.

Candidates are also expected to stay current with emerging trends and capabilities in context of our business, and meet regularly with teammates to support training and aligning executions in this space. 

Occasional travel will be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties can be assigned.

  • This role is a teammate in the Hendrick Automotive Group Marketing Department and serves as the senior website performance contact across the organization

  • Maintains key performance reporting and maintains disciplines supporting ongoing performance management
  • Supplies consistent reporting on key performance indicators and benchmarks, and regularly communicates performance to key stakeholders
  • Proactively supports and engages senior account manager teams responsible for managing dealership holistic marketing efforts
  • Manages and implements continuous improvement efforts to enhance digital user experience and conversion optimization
  • Manages supplier partners supporting websites and adjacent services across the enterprise
  • Manages website development and migration projects across the enterprise
  • Supports key brand standards for maintaining continuity in our Hendrick brand image and customer experience across websites
  • Regularly audits websites to maintain and manage against our brand standards
  • Aids in the support of key infrastructure supporting website performance management efforts including but not limited to tag management, audience management, analytics configurations and other critical solutions required to support day-to-day operations
  • Supports data integrity across Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager solutions for website properties and adjacent solutions
  • Documents Hendrick Standards, best practice and communicates regularly across the enterprise
  • Stays current on emerging trends, solutions and tactics in support of our digital marketing efforts
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.  Hendrick Automotive Group prides itself on working together on all projects in support of our stores. 
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization and with our supporting partners
  • Proactively expose and escalate opportunities to improve the organization's marketing solutions and further support dealership business
  • Travel required as needed to support our dealership operations

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Business Management/ Administration preferred.
  • Experience in managing website content management solutions, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager required.
  • Experience with automotive website and adjacent solutions preferred.
  • Must have strong communication skills and a willingness to learn/adapt to needs of automotive retail.

Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employee.  Should have strong group presentation skills and excellent written communication skills.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, RFPs and procedure manuals.  Must be able to interact with teammates to ensure successful completion of job duties, which can include in person or over the phone or video conference.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. The ability to research, analyze and matrix different types of business and demographic data.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Must be able to think through complex scenarios and interpret complex language to ensure a resolution.

Environment Demands:

Regular and predictable attendance is required.  Duties are performed primarily in the office but frequent travel to dealership locations is required.
