Fixed Operations Talent Acquisition Manager | Technician Recruiter
Hendrick Automotive Group, the largest privately owned dealership group in America is looking to add a dynamic member to our Fixed-Operations recruiting team. The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years of experience in the recruiting field. We are looking for an expert in executing dynamic, motivational presentations, whether face-to-face with an individual or in front audiences of over 100+. Must have a passion for matching the right candidate with the perfect position at our dealerships and collision centers. Experience in sourcing candidates with platforms such as Linkedin, Indeed, and Careerbuilder is a preferred. This position is based in Charlotte, NC with extensive national travel to support recruiting efforts for our 120+ locations in 11+ states. Summary:
Facilitates the recruiting process for companywide Fixed Operations initiatives with direction from the Director of Talent Strategy. Build relationships with campus career centers (high schools, colleges/ universities and vocational), faculty and students. Routinely travels to campus events to help build Fixed Operations talent pipeline for Hendrick Automotive Group. Evaluate sourcing results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Must be creative and must exercise flexibility and initiative.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. However, as part of project management duties this position may direct the work of others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Brand ambassador for Hendrick Careers- help promote Hendrick culture on vocational school campuses
- Develop and build external relationships with career centers, faculty and students at campuses.
- Help establish Hendrick Automotive Group as a National employer of choice for Fixed Operations candidates entering the industry.
- Develop and build relationships internally with regional leaders to help address Fixed Operations needs
- Periodically participate in scheduled Fixed Operations conference call to address recruitment needs.
- Work with Management Company Operations leadership on Fixed Operations recruiting initiatives
- Evaluate current recruiting resources and determine best practices under the direction of Director of Talent Strategy
- Provide pipeline of service advisor, automotive technician and collision technician candidates for existing dealerships and acquisitions
- Demonstrates knowledge of company culture, Brand Standards, philosophy and policies
- Utilize multiple candidate sourcing methods including, but not limited to various technology and social media outlets
- Collaborate with managers on effective recruiting practices to ensure an exceptional Hendrick experience for all candidates
- Effectively measure campus source effectiveness
- Utilize Applicant Tracking software to effectively source, screen and facilitate pre-hire process
