Data Analyst (Finance)
Summary: Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to support business objectives. This role requires proficiency in data visualization, query writing, and data preparation using industry-standard tools. The analyst must be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have direct supervisory responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
- Data Analysis & Insights
- Perform in-depth analysis of structured and semi-structured data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
- Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations for stakeholders.
- ETL & Data Preparation
- Build and maintain data workflows using Alteryx Designer.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from multiple sources.
- Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define analytical needs and deliver solutions.
- Present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Governance & Best Practices
- Document processes, workflows, and methodologies.
- Follow established data governance and quality assurance procedures.
- Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
- Complies with Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Desired Education:

☒ Bachelor Degree - In Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.

Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Alteryx Designer, Tableau or Power BI, and SQL. Experience with Alteryx Server and/or Snowflake.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with complex situation situations. Ability to work in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Computer Skills:
Ability to work proficiently with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and data preparation software such as Alteryx Designer. Must be able to write and optimize SQL queries.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Communication Skills:
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel in person and over the phone. Strong interpersonal and skills.
Attendance Expectations:
The position requires regular and predictable attendance at the Management Office. Position is not remote. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; type on the computer and speak over the phone.
Environment Demands:
Duties are primarily performed at a desk in the office environment. Work involves continuous contact and interaction with management office personnel. Work includes movement around facilities.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to receive and communicate with management office personnel/vendors/teammates courteously, efficiently, and professionally. Employee must be able to display professional phone and email etiquette.
